They've built a good all-around squad now. The one query is mountains support (no change there), but at least he'll be treated like a leader.
One question is whether his rainbow jersey gets BMC to the Tour. It's a pretty packed list with the PT teams, at least one Dutch team, Radio Shack, Sky, Cervelo etc. Is there room for BMC?
after what they did to cipo when he was world champ and then contador as a defending winner it's a huge question mark. the only thing for sure is that bmc know how to do it and money likely isn't an issue.

Valid point.
I would have thought that before committing to BMC that CE would have factored in the likely participation of BMC at events like the TDF.
It could be that Rihs wants to once again try for a Tour title. He built an entire team around Hamilton and spent a ton of money and we know the results.
Could be his frustration level has dropped by now.
he got the short end of the stick (rihs)
Will be interesting to see how this pans out. He hasn't had much luck with teams. Could have won the tdf by now if he had a solid team.

True, I don't think BMC will be any more help than lotto. They're also going to struggle to gain a TDF start.

No doubt, swap Sastre & Evans in the CSC/Saxo bank team in 2008 & Sastre wouldn't have won!. If Evans had the 'armchair' ride that Sastre did for that tour, (ie: poked his head out of the pack ONCE on 1 stage)he would have been hard to beat, given that the only other major contenders were on the same team!
Here's a good interview w/ Lelangue - he definitely wants another Tour win:
