    Well santa came early for me this year and I have all my christmas parts installed on my bike...here
    are some pics for those who care =)

    race face signature ti bottom bracket race face next lp crank arms and chainrings sram x.0 rear
    derailleur sram x.9 trigger shifters front and rear promax hydraulic disc brakes shimano deore
    hubsrhyno lite rims x-blade fenders shimano platform spd clipless pedals and the faithful garmin
    etrex legend mounted on the handle bars =)

    This is my first bike ever so i wasnt sure what to upgrade as far as the fork goes any
    recommendations on forks would be greatly appreciated. I do a mix of freeriding and x-country.

    Argh, I lost my Legend on a ride once. Had it on the back and never realized it was gone.

    Let us know how the promaxes work.

    Don't upgrade anything else on that bike though!!! Unless you can get things at less-than-wholesale
    prices, you can buy a new bike that would have great stuff and would cost less overall than
    upgrading the fork. Don't buy a SID - it will break. Others here will say, "Buy a Marzocchi - glee,
    glee - the only good forks are Marzocchis, glee glee!"

    Did you do all the work? Were the brakes ezay to set up and did you need an adapter?

    Yes, I did all the work it only took like 30 minutes to do it all. Yes, I did need a 24 dollar
    adapter (which is only available at an authourized trek dealer) for the rear calipers to fit to the
    frame. As far as setup it was done with in 5 minutes...it all matches up perfect no adjusting needed
    and it doesnt drag at all. if you have any further questions feel free to ask.

    LOL i never clean this room it is my spare bedroom/computer room and now /bike workshop room.

    wow...you guys dont miss a thing do ya! thanks for the advice, i was allready quitting for new
    years. not cutting back or sneaking one here and there but really quitting.
