  1. Now that i can't bike because of weather, i do a lot of weight exercise, when i do leg extensions, should i stop when i feel the burn, or try to continue for a few more, to build up my strength.

    I recommend not doing more but maybe adding lunges into the routine. Experienced cyclists may have a better solution for you for cycling specific training though...I am more of a resistance training person who happens to cycle.

  3. when doing weight training always work the muscle to the point of failure. that is do 3 sets of ten with the weight you do it with. if u can do 3 sets of ten then increase your weight by at least 12 -15 lbs on the last set until u work up to doing 3/10s with the increased weight. remember that weight training is for the off season.once you get back on the bike use your power for cycling and lay off weight trainning.
