US Made Wheels

I'm wondering - couldn't you buy from any US mail order company regardless of which country they get their warehouse stock from?

Why not get a set of custom built wheels? You'd likely end up with wheels that are a lot cheaper while being just as good, if not better, than boutique wheels.

I've had mine on for nearly two years and close to 20,000 miles. I've only knocked one out of true once, and only slightly. And they roll better than any custom wheel I've ever used...

It depends what you want. If you want 'real' wheels, which are affordable, and have aluminium rims with lots of spokes (say, 28 or more), then just about any bike shop in the country will be able to build you some. It ain't that hard -- I build my own wheels which I race on, and I've never even worked in a shop. :p

However, if you want some bling wheels, then, well, there are a million more expensive options.

Then there's the in-between route, on which you have a builder, uhm, build bling for you.
