I got record 11 sp levers and they sent the 10 speed cables which don’t fit. I sent the cables back and yesterday I got the new cables. They don’t say 11 speed but they say Campag Ultra Low friction on them. They are the correct diameter and fit into the slots of the levers.
The derailleur cables don’t have a metal cap fitted on them though the leaflet that came with them and the leaflet that came with the levers say they should and that the end with the fitted cab should be inserted into the lever body. The slot in the levers where these derailleur cables go into have a metal insert already so maybe a cap isn’t needed? Have the shop sent me wrong cables again?
They did come with 4 metal caps in a small plastic bag. These fit loosely on the derailleur cables but are too big to fit into the slot of the levers.

It's just normal inner wire with 4mm housing instead of 4.5 for '10s' Campag housing. Do not use a cap/ferrule on the lever side for derailleur or brake housing. Make sure the end of the housing is cut cleanly, a Dremel works the best, IMO.
Use the caps/ferrules for the rear derailleur section of housing, for the frame end and the derailleur end.

Thanks Peter, it seems the instructions on the leaflet are incorrect so. Whats a Dremel? I've never heard it before
