What I want to say is: your bitterness on the topic is senseless, doping is part of cycling for a long time and every discussion about it is expected, especially these days when public knows a lot about the subject.

When did they dope? From the beginning of time. The fruit of the tree of knowledge was laced with EPO. The serpent was a WADA undercover operative conducting a sting operation.
How did they avoid being caught? Serendipity. Drug testing is an arbitrary sham that identifies the unlucky dopers, not the dopers.
Who supplied them? Irrelevant.
What should the punishment be? Nothing. All drugs should be legalized for use by consenting adults -- the risks and benefits are theirs alone.
What performances are suspect? Only the ones by the riders you hate.
