I think you can drop the word 'cycling', and the phrase becomes a bit more accurate!

He does cycle. But this is the same John Caudwell who on a motoring program (can't remember which
one) was looking to buy several cars; An About Town car, a Track-Day car, and a Super car. His
budget was about 500,000 for all three. I think he shows the interviewer whichever aspect of his
personality is most appropriate to the interview.

The Sunday Chimes did a full page spread about him some months ago, I couldn't see the make of his
bike but the two headlights were self evident and looked the biz.

Whatever, he looked pretty competent handling his bike and cycling had no particular relevance to
the BBC and Times pieces YMMV

What's so strange about someone discussing cars on a motoring programme? And how does a liking for
cars disqualify one from being a cyclist? And surely track days are the best environment for high
speed driving.

There was a piece about him on Central News a while back - he'd ridden his bike to a branch 60 miles
away for a surprise visit, and was in training for an Istanbul-London charity ride (or somesuch),
that he was going to do at circa 180 miles per day. Was he wearing a Phones4U cycling top?
