Now for Cancellara.
I love Cancellara, I'm holding out faint hope that he is simply a freak of nature. Schumacher's no surprise, but where'd we hear about Voigt?

The rumors are that three or four CSC members are being tested.
Today the first three results were supposed to be known. So far they are running two positives out of three. That is a great hit rate. Two or three positives on CSC will a huge scandal.
Fingers crossed that they decided to test the dodgiest ones first?
(God i can be naive at times)

No question, but the Schleck positive leads me to believe that perhaps Blood doping (rather than CERA) is CSC's method of choice. Meaning that CSC probably wouldn't have many positives.
I'm no expert, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Maybe. But Fuentes is out of business and cost a lot when he was in business. It also looks like a few years ago CSC shut down whatever internal doping program they had, and their riders were left to use outside services. Different riders might be doing different things.
Supposedly CERA is sold in Spain over the counter, no prescription needed. If the peloton knew that it could not be tested for and you only need to inject it once every couple of weeks, it would be very tempting and a lot easier than transfusions. There were probably tons of riders using it this year.
According to a german newsagency Prudhomme confirmed the positive test to Holczer who now wants to sue Schumacher.

Well maybe not the positives, but anyone with a brain could have guessed that they were on something else than orange juice (the kind that's not produced at the Ferrari plantation, if you know what I mean).
Schumacher has already been fired, I hear.
In a way the other Gerolsteiner staff can be happy Holczer didn't secure a sponsor, because they would have been running now. Giving the other riders even less time to find other work.

fired by who? isn't gerolstiener officially defunct? do you mean fired by gerolstiener of quickstep? bettini must be laughing his mo-fo ass off...
i think cancellara, kirchen and the schleck bros might be a big candidates... voight's performance was a little outrageous as well... but cancellara and kirchen missing the worlds kinda stands out like a sore thumb..

Gerolsteiner is still active and racing until the end of the year. So fired by Gerolsteiner.
