Has Menchov been dope tested yet? Can't seem to recall him finishing in the top 3 on any stage, so maybe not tested? Wonder if he's a dope bomb waiting to go off.

Does he look stronger than last year? Or is it just that the cow-blooded Chicken is not here.
I have some cynicism that he may have not been as doped at last year's TdF due to the UCI affadavit they all signed. However I also thought the same about Valverde before this race started, and it seems so far that Piti's performances have been similar to last year's.

Piti took two leaks within 45 minutes on the day he was in yellow. Doesn't the masking agent that Garzelli got pinched for make you have to pee frequently?

Probenicid. Same thing Delgado tested positive for in the 88 Tour. It was used to mask steriods. My understanding is that it is now off the banned list as the testing is sophisticated enough to get around the masking abilities of probenicid. IIRC Probenecid is normally used to treat gout i.e it flushes out uric acid.

Yep, in '88 it was on the IOC banned list, but not the UCI list.
Delgado = lucky unit.

I haven't read that he's been tested, but I'm rooting for him to win, unless...Valverde can pull off a flandis come from behind win. Go, Alejandro!!! 😎

Yeah, not having Chicken and Contadope blowing up the field makes anyone who attacks this year look faster than they did last year.
The real reason I'm asking is, assuming all the GC contenders dope, contenders who've already passed doping tests this Tour have better odds of evading detection than contenders who haven't taken any tests yet (of course, there is the issue of different screens being used at different times, so, for example, it's not a slam dunk that Evans will not test positive later in the Tour; also the issue of fresh injections or blood).
Obviously F. Shleck and Evans have been tested. Have the other contenders? Menchov, VV, Kohl, Sastre? No stage wins or jerseys among them IIRC, so maybe not tested yet?
