  1. Without Lance, we don't have the leadership, wisdom, and guidance from the "Godfather of Cycling Greats" (as he is called by my circle of enthusiasts).

The Peloton is a mess, like a small child lost in the dark woods at nightfall near a cold brooding brook.

    🙁

    😄

  2. I don't understand the relevence of "cold brooding brook".

The "Godfather" is a pretty apt pseudonym. Someone like Al Capone would be a slightly better analogy IMO.

A serious reply to a silly post:

The Tour is way better without the "blue train" on the front for 98% of the Tour...

I'm an underdog supporter so I'm loving an open Tour with no clear favourite.

Bring on the insane attacks, mano e mano fist fights, riders collapsing over the line ala Nicole Cooke style, pain, loss and victory.

Am I the only one who feels a renewed love for the Tour?

I totaly agree, it's great not having so much predictability.

  6. The Tour is good, but if I was race director I'd beef it up a bit with more naked women, sex and violence. Look at how well Hinault pushing that idiot off the podium went the other night, or how links to the pictures of that podium girls dress blowing up in the wind giving us a glimpse of her sheer panty covered pud is appearing all over the web. You know I'm right.

    Amen brother!

Now add link to wind/dress incident...
