All of the North York's Moors are good cycling routes. Out of season at anytime the roads are
reasonably quiet and not much more than lanes once you get off the main roads that circle the
National Park. There is the disused coast railway bed Scarborough to Whitby and Whitby West Cliff to Boulby which
is quite popular but the bridges have been taken out and the tunnels closed which could cause
problems. The old station at Hawsker just South of Whitby is now MTB centre. They will be able to
give advice and sell local maps. There isn't much flat riding in the area so you need your climbing
legs or enjoy walking.Have a look at this site moors.uk.netindex.phpOpen ↗
