Riding through London yesterday I came across a very fit female racer, who was leaving everybody but me behind with ease. When we stopped at the lights she noted my legs and said she had never seen anyone go that fast on a folder :-)
Paddington to Canary Wharf currently running at around 35 minutes, return in 40. Is it uphill, I wonder, or am I just more knackered?

Heh. I can pass the majority of cyclists out here on the moors, but that's basically the casual majority. Little over a week ago I was passed on the long uphill by an attractive young lady on a roadie, and could do nothing but wish I'd been on the folder so at least I'd've had something other than the paunch to blame.

folders do seem to vary wildly from very slow to pritty quick. i don't see that many out in SW london. but they do seem to one or the other.

You've got it easy - here in south Manchester we have half the GB squad to keep our egos in check :-/
