    Trails.com aquired topozone and now you have to pay for all topo maps.

    Man that sucks. I've used topozone for years to gather hiking info.

    Google maps now has a "terrain" display option, and if you zoom in to the closest few settings it actually shows labeled iso lines. From my own rides it seems quite accurate, and the "make a map" option lets you gauge mileage as well... seems pretty useful.

  5. National Geographic sells them on CD. I have all the maps from Virginia north to Maine, plus the National Parks and SE Pennsylvania.
