Cancellara took out the gloves and wore them at one point (about 1.5 hours back). Other than a period of wintry weather, it is fine with mostly dry roads.

And Japan, too 🙂 I watched it live on JSports! (although with the time difference, it starts in the evening and ends in the middle of the night....not good for my recovery :o ) But I guess I shouldn't complain, eh 😄

That is wild. You got to watch the RVV live in Japan? Whoa. And they say the sport needs to become more global...

That's right! There's actually a pretty large fan base for cycling here. We get a good number of the major classics live, as well as all stages of the big tours as well. Imanake Daisuke, a retired Japanese cyclist who used to ride for Polti, does the commentating and interpreting over the live European feed, which we then get on the Japanese SKYPerfect satellite.
