Does this oven thermometer exist?

Sara, Here's one that lets you walk around the house (within 100ft of the oven) and will let you
know what the oven temperature is as well as the temp of the meat (or whatever). Also alarms on

It sure does exist, I have an electronic on that has a probe with a 4 foot wire, the probe attaches
to a digital thermometer that will beep at a specific temprature. It cost me about $20 bucks at the
local kitchen store. I don't remember the brand but I will post it tomorrow for you.

Yes, but the upper limit on the original Poldors (also sold by Radio Shack and others under their
own names) is 392 degF.

The new cordless model that Radio Shack sells is 199degF maximum, due to the 2.5 digit readout.

Dunno about that smoker wireless model that someone posted...
