I am getting ready to get some new wheels for racing only...
might try a different strategy as my last 'boutique' wheelset ended in tears (cracked mavic krysiums-ouch)
Im a borderline clydesdale so want durability/aero/reliability
what would be a good combination of parts to hand over to a good wheelbuilder...( yes I do have the man to do the job)
any wheel gurus out there listening!!!!?????

how much money do you have to spend... and what is your weight.
What is your balance between aero/durability? Mavic Krysiums are hardly boutique though.

Describe you and your riding needs. shimano or Campagnolo? Tubular or clincher? Big $?
DT, shimano, Campag hubs. Velocity, Mavic or DT rims, DT or Sapim spokes, designed well.
If ya 'got a man to do the job', what does he say?
