Tri Bar Problem

According to the bike spec they're Zipp Vuka clip-ons. I don't know
what the OP's problem is, unless the bulge on his bars isn't wide enough
to move them out a bit.

Handlebars - Specialized Zertz transition Bullhorns
Tri-Bars - Profile Designs T2 Cobra aero bars

after speaking to Specialized today .. it looks like the bars and handle bar
will have to be replaced, as the bars are at there widest due to the bit
that sits between the handlebar and stem .. hey ho back to the drawing board

Can you move the armrest pads further apart, leaving the bars where they are?
This might take enough pressure off your shoulders to make it more
comfortable

Do you mean that the bulge in the bars isn't wide enough? If that's the
case you can probably swap the clamps (so they're offest inwards rather
than outwards) and fit them over shims on the thin part of the bar).
