I noticed puncture sealant in Decathlon today. It didn't list road bikes as being one of the applications, but is there a sealant that does? It the stuff that seals and inflates from a can, rather then the sealant you put in the tube and then leave until you get a puncture.
It looks like it'd be handy for commuting, and TBH it wouldn't matter if the tube were scrap or not after as long as it got me to where I was going on time. The tyres I run are 23mm Blizzards (very few punctures anyway) and I have them at about 100PSI.
I use a mixture 50/50 of art latex and "Slime". It works really well - good in a tubeless set-up on the MTB too. I don't believe there is a puncture-fixing sealant that works well at high 100 psi. You need some luck for any of them work at 50 psi.

I thought that might be the way. I'm most likely worrying about nothing - had the first puncture ever on that bike after I leant it to a mate for less than 24 hours. He got home fine on it after our trip to the pub, but then ended up getting squeezed by a car in the morning on the way to Uni, and had to ride through some glass in a cycle lane. Said mate booted the car door, the driver got out and started going ape and was promptly nicked by the police car behind him. Which was nice.
