Cycling Shoes

It sounds like you're referring to the "T nut" - the part the cleat screw screws into? If so, almost any bike shop has replacements, and they're cheap.

To replace (or remove), you do it from the inside - have to pull out the insole. Then, many shoes have a little flap that covers the T nut and you have to pop that open too.

Does that make sense?

Yes, thats the right part
I already got that far though
I figured out how to get the old part out and the new in.
However, my LBS (amazingly) said he didnt have the part and that i should look online......

I suggest you call Bike Performance, since it appears that is where you purchased the shoes. They should be able to get you the part, and very likely it will be free.
