Something should be happening on your computer screen if you replace the battery and pushed the
buttons. If not, it most likely is toast. It might be simpler to buy a new computer, with the
instructions on how to use it. New computers can be had for about $10.00.

Many of the Avenir computers are rebadged ACT computers, designed by Lake Sport. Some of those have
a not-obvious switch. There is a ball-bearing on the back that needs to be depressed to switch it
on. So clip it firmly into its handlebar mount to get the screen to wake up.

Your battery os a CR-2032, right? And the numbers are facing up when you install the battery, right?

If it is more than that you probably are just out of luck. Hope you didn't pay much, new standard-
function bike computers are quite cheap.
