    Hi,

    sorry to bother you all. I am in need of a little advice/guidance.

    I'm seriously thinking of taking off the crappy springy suspension fork and replacing it with a nice
    Marzocchi fork that I have seen for £99

    Does anyone have any experiences with this fork and any comments.

    Also, the fork comes in two sizes. I have spoken to some friends who inform me that if I get the
    wrong one it will affect the geometry and that I should go for the 85mm one.

    Any advice would be greatfully received.

    My bike is a Marin Bobcat Trail (I think it's the 2000 model as it came with [censored] gripshift)

    about your bike?

    Other than that, what will your bike shop charge you to put this new fork on. And how much will you
    spend for an air pump?

    What shock did it come with? Nice pick for the upgrade. But why do you say [censored] Gripshift?

    Is this bike worth upgrading to you? Marin doesn't make crappy frames, but if you're gonna swap
    everything out, why not get the Xmas spirit and get a whole new ride?

    Shorty shifters are the only way to go if you are going to use a Gripshift. Otherwise, stick with
