For fibre, I'm doing subdermal injections of cedar and mahogany.

Doorskins, right? I harbour a love/hate relationship with that
stuff, myself. Doorskin mahogany forms the soundboard of my
homemade hammered dulcimer. I'm immune to cedar in all its
various species. I used to nervously chew on it -- enough to
freak-out the allergic people. I'm also immune to cat scratches.
(I'm not immune to pampas grass, and just looking at it evokes
sneezing fits in me.)

earthworms dangling out of my mouth, but I'll
be there.
My grandfather always said to not worry about it because "you have to
eat a bushel of dirt before you die." As a kid I took it literally
but sometimes now wonder if that's what he meant.
I much prefer garden variety, to market variety veggies.
Market variety veggies grow so fast and violently, they'll
grow around their soil medium, and contain it within them.
And I hate finding dried-up earthworms within my supermarket-
purchased cabbages. Almost as much as I hate finding halves
of dried-up earthworms within my supermarket-purchased cabbages.
Quoted message said:I'd not be surprised if worm castings, under some exotic alias, went
over big with truffle lovers who profess to communicate with dead
celebrities.
I saw some lovely big white plain ordinary mushrooms at the
Oakridge Safeway today. I shined them on.
Quoted message said:Sprinkled lightly over a pizza, worm castings would give it an earthy
flavour. Vegetables love 'em. Cut out the middle-man.
I can sort of deal with earthworms. But slugs gross me out.
Especially in coleslaw.
One of my worst nightmares is cracking into a soft boiled
egg and finding a chicken foetus in there, with a weak li'l
neck so the head flops to one side, and X'd-out eyes.
I don't mind a li'l blood in the yolk.
cheers,
Tom
