Anybody know what the best solvent for wax based lubes (white lightning, ice wax, krytech, etc...) is? Whatever the stuff is in White Lightning Clean Streak would be perfect - it strips it instantly but cans of Clean Streak are outrageously priced.

I'm familiar with the hot water approach - I'm just wondering if anyone knew what the active ingredient in Clean Streak was that cleans so well.....
I did some googling and came up with either Naphtha (Coleman Fuel) or denatured alcohol (not the drug store variety, the paint dept kind) of which the denatured alcohol seems to be the safer (no benzene which is a carcinogen)
I'll pick some up next time I go to the hardware/paint store and post the result.
