Why is this m15 neanderthal allowed to spam everywhere? Can something
be done to stop him? He uses a different email for every piece of [censored]
he posts. Maybe we can report this to some authority.

Report him to the KGB. Maybe they'll give him some Polonium
tea.

Interesting that a soundex on his choice of username 'mivivmvm' = M115,
which is similar to MI5

We could only be so lucky. I'd love to give govt. grants to all our
rbr academic folks to decide just what constitutes torture by trying
out various methods on this idiot, Gummer, and D. Spencer Hines.

French group has really been getting hammered for a year now, but its
another joker who posts tons more then M15, so on the whole, I guess rbr is
lucky compared to the French group. There are abuse groups to learn more,
but I think there should be blocklists which update automatically to all
news servers, which block these users on a regular basis, but I am not
familar with what Internet authorites should have the power to maintain and
update such blacklists. There is so much of it, its easier just to ignore
the static for now, but I don't think the burden should be on the client
end, on the server end rather.

Some news servers do accept cancels, others don't. It's up to the
individual sysadmin.

Previously, the MI5 kook has kept to a constant email address and
consistent subject line, making him trivial to filter out at any level.
I don't have a very large killfile, but two previous MI5 identities were
in it.
The current iteration is deliberately obfuscating and permuting his
sending ID and subject lines to avoid easy killfiling.
It's a pain, but he's fairly actively tracked owing to the sheer volume.
With luck, the Guardians of Usenet will get him kicked off his latest
host soon. Hopefully he's not using some foul bullet-proof host.

That's the way I understood it too, and seems chaotic, but the only thing I
know of offhand is the usenet death penalty for someone like M15...
