Bl**dy h*ll the prices seem to shoot up a lot all the time. Anyway, am looking at a Waterloo-Shoreditch commute bike for London. Getting it on the cyclescheme and get 43% off. So, looking at the best at a reasonable price.
I probably want as light as possible, so this could be the S2L-X .. at £1025. Is this bike a good size for a 6ft bloke and is the standard gearing okay? I really don't want riser bars, flat bars look so much better.
So, is this a good choice? The M3L-X is a little cheaper, but horrid bars.....

How concerned are you about ultimate folding size? Coz at that money you're in birdy territory, which is a significantly better bike IMO. And it still folds pretty well.

Thanks Clive. I must admit that I'm looking a teh prices of Bromptons and thinking that they've pushed their price up and everyone is riding one.
I don't really want lots of gears ... a couple or three is just fine. I do want a very light bike to carry about.

Folding really small is important to me.

Well, picked it up on Saturday. Went for an S2L in the end.
First thing was to fit some bar-ends. Essential I think now.
Anyway, am enjoying it, and can do my commmute from the station in 15 mins rather than 30 minutes. So that's a nice saving, not mentioning the savings on train fair/reliability of travel.
