  1. Hi all,

I'd like to solicit some recommendations regarding shoe covers for my winter riding.
I have a moutain bike and shoes with some pretty significant cleats so typical road shoe covers just are not going to get the job done. Also, I'm in North Carolina so it rarely gets too far below freezing.

Basically what I'm looking for is something that acts as a windbreak, has a little insulation and is not neoprene (ride through too much water). I've been looking looking at Pearl Izumi 2007/08 AmFIB Mountain Cycling Shoe Covers and Cannondale LE Max Bike Booties. The LE's frankly look really cool 😎 but I cannot find any reviews 😕. Both look like they would be good for the NC climate but if there are any other recommendations I'd be happy to look at them too. I'm trying to settle on something so the family can pick me up something for Xmas.

Cheers and happy diety worshipping 🙂
