  1. Somebody just posted this on our club forum. Never heard of them. Are there any such things?
"Does anyone have any experience with battery operated foot or toe warmers to use in cycling shoes? I have a recommendation from a good friend already, but I always like at least two opinions." 🙂

  2. Well after silicone [censored] became all the rage, it was only a matter of time until they came out with electric booties!

  3. I tried electric socks and was not impressed.

  4. Try googling "heated insoles", you'll be amazed. Sidi makes some called Toesters, I think. They're only around $400. I actually do have some heated insoles, called
"Hotronics". I wear them at work. For cycling, I use chemical toe warmers which work great. Trouble with them though, on really cold days, I need two on each foot because I have a size 12. I still wear booties over my shoes because I have circulation issues. I did a 30 mile ride today and it was around 30* F. My feet stayed nice and warm, for the most part.
Dressing for a cold ride is like an art.
    Ken.
