I am so annoyed.
It's been eight weeks and I have lost fifteen pounds.
I know this might seem like whining to you, but normally after eight
weeks the fat would have absolutely shrunken, dried up and fallen
right off my body on lowcarb. So after about four weeks stalled at the
same ten pound loss, I did some frankensteining and tried a stack.
I'm not good with the stack, but thanks to the kind assistance of a
little known and underappreciated ASDLC bioscience guru my heart did
not explode in my chest and I did not experience any psychotic
episodes that I personally know of. But there was not even a minor
quaver on the scale at the end of that week.
The next week, I tried Stillman. Not hard to do, once you get used to
it, and I did seem to lose a little puffiness in my chin and ankles,
but -- nothing. Can you believe that?
ALSO, I got food poisoing or something two weeks ago and lost not a
single pound, not even a cup of water off the scale.
Fifth week; Fat Fast. THAT Worked, and I whooshed five pounds, but by
then I was too annoyed to get all thrilled with myself.
[censored] [censored] [censored]. On the other hand:
I can tell I'm thinner and my body is changing its composition. I'm
sloooowwwly going from a possible apple to a semi-pear.
I probably was trying to hard to squeeze into the size 14 jeans that
fit me before I was snatched up by the medical establishment and made
to do drugs. Now I'm into size 12, not to be worn in public but
they're zipping up. I was actually probably fatter than I thought.
I've been wrapping the tape around my midsection and hips every few
weeks and I think I've lost two inches in each. There are jeans in my
closet that I'm beginning recognize vaguely as acquaintances.
My skin is better and, after a few weeks of feeling like I couldn't
even move, I've managed to get up enough motivation to do five
workouts this week, which was just unheard of in my little universe a
few short weeks ago.
So I think what's happening is exactly what happened the last time my
metabolism got sick. It took a few months to clear the candida, change
my metabolism over, burn off the fog and get some energy. After about
five years of criminally easy weight maintenance, my metabolism is
back in its natural state of high neurosis.
I'm still trying stuff. I'm taking a green drink twice a day, heavy
duty probiotics, fiber tabs and rhodiola. I added that Greek yogurt
and more salad.
Let ya know. 🙂
