  1. Two wonderful walks we did on the Isle of Bute last weekends, we did
pick up a leaflet in the Tourist Information which had a map and more
    detail on the following walks.

    Barone Hill, Isle of Bute

Lovely coastal views followed by hills (circular walk)

Glencallum Bay & St. Blane's, Isle of Bute

An easy start then a 'mud bath with cows and bulls', followed by a
moderate climb. The route back is mainly on tracks and lanes. (circular
    walk).

We stayed at the Shearings, Glenburn Hotel, Rothesay. Great for a base
and reasonably priced including Breakfast and evening meal, I'd recomend
one when chosing an area to do some walking. This is the third time we
have used them and they often include evening entertainment, which you
    can either take or leave.

Just thought I'd share this with you all as we had a great short break,
we even saw some Seals swimming in Scalpsie Bay with views of Arran.
