    Quoted message said:

80 to 100 years ago, fat women were considered to be imprevious to all
cancers. Much of what we perceive as an increased cancer risk is foisted
upon us by the media machine.

80 to 100 years ago, we had totally different kinds of food dangers to deal
with, but none them had to do with additives that make us fatter, like HFSC
    and other corn-sweeteners.
Oh, and Let's not even got there with the beef industries. Sure, we could
all stand to be playing some more DDR rather than WoW, or whatever keeps us
chained to our PCs or PS3s, but the big corps aren't helping any.

I know, I know, there goes Miaka with her conspiracy theories again.... but
then, how many diet-based companies and pharmas are owned by umbrella corps
that own foods companies as well? I'm not sure, but I'll give you the cites
    when I find them.

We're all potential cash cows, pardon the non-f.a. pun, to the corps, at
    least in the USA.
