  1. Strawberry Delight

A crust of finely crushed pretzels gives this dessert a unique twist.
As cool and colorful today as it was when it was introduced back in
    the 1960's.

2 1/2 cups finely crushed pretzels
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup powdered sugar
3 cups prepared whipped topping, thawed
1 6 oz. pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 cups boiling water
    1 Lb Whole Strawberries, sliced

Preheat oven to 350 F. In medium bowl, combine pretzels, butter and brown
sugar. Mix well and pat mixture into a 9"x13" baking pan. Bake for 10
minutes, let cool completely. In large bowl, beat together cream cheese
and powered sugar until fluffy; fold in whipped topping; blend well. Set
aside. In medium bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water and stir in
sliced strawberries. Let stand 2-3 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled crust and top with berry-gelatin.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, no longer than 12.
