perhaps they mean a candied apricot. Where sugar is used as a preservative.

Do you know the nationality of the writer of the document that contains
the sentence? If you can learn that, perhaps you might have success
asking on one of the soc.culture groups. Apart from that, I am
guessing (a guess only) that frosted apricots are dried and glazed
apricots -- apricots cooked in a high sugar syrup then drained to dry
off. Perhaps the "frosted apricots" are dusted with powdered sugar?
I'm making guesses only, with the hope that something might make sense

Frosted apricots are made by dipping dried apricots in eggwhite, then
dusting them in powdered sugar. Po polsku chyba kandyzowane.

I once had the most incredibly moist-yet-dried glazed apricots ever.
They came from Australia, IIRC? I wish I could remember the exact name
of them but they were incredible. Very fresh tasting and large. Nothing
like the little dried apricots we get here in the U.S.
