  1. I just got a bike and it came with Conti Ultrasports, which according to the reviews is about the Worst tire made. It is a 700x23 and was thinking of getting something like Gatorskins that are pretty dependable. I read on another post that a person should use the 700x25. I am kind of new to all of this, but what is the difference in 23 and 25 and do they feel/handle different?
    thanks

  2. If comfort is not a problem and you can keep a bike moving faster than 30km/h (and like to do this), get the 23mm. If comfort is an issue, or you never exceed 30km/h, then get 25mm - as long as your frame can fit tyres of that size. If roads are bad, sometimes dirt, or commonly wet, go for 25mm, or 28mm.
