Reminds me of the old trick question "which weighs more, a pound of
gold or a
pound of feathers?". The feathers weigh more, of course, since precious

are measured using troy units, and the troy pound is smaller than the

of them in a troy pound).
Perhaps more appropriate would be to paraphrase an even older line

I'm sorry my sarcasm wasn't more apparent...but my statement is still
technically accurate, as weight and mass are distinct.
And that old saying partially provided the impetus for my remark. All
the stock seats are essentially the same, apart from the foam and
cover. To really take off any significant weight from the seat, get a
CF base.
