Maybe you want to expand the list beyond the US. Here in Nova Scotia a nice round-the-lake ride
is around Lake Ainslie. But it's only an easy afternoon ride of about 60 km. It's best to ride

Expanding the list globally, the first ride I think of is the ride Round "THE LAKE"
(VÄTTERN-RUNDAN).
Vättern (sometimes spelled "Vettern" or "Wettern"😉 is the second largest lake in Sweden.

It has become a yearly tradition for all serious cyclists in Sweden to gather in Motala on a
weekend in mid-June and ride around the lake, a 300 km loop, in one day. The limit it set at about
15000 riders and that number is usually filled 4 months before the ride. I was lucky to get into
it in 1994. (there were some cancellations in registered participants)
