Best Creamed Corn
Recipe by: Unknown
4 1/2 cup frozen corn
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup milk
1 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons sugar
pinchwhite or cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
Combine the corn, cream, milk, salt, sugar and pepper in a pot, and bring
to a boil. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saute pan. Add the flour,
stirring constantly with a wooden spoon over low heat. Cook for 2 to 3
minutes. Stir the flour-butter roux into the corn mixture, and cook
several minutes over medium heat until it thickens. Serve warm.
