I think the inference is that it was the longest downhill MTB run ever,
"downhill" in this case referring to the terrain type.

Come to think of it.... I think I did Mount Tantalus on Oahu both

Having done the Cannell Plunge among many other long downhill runs, I
wondered about that, too. Maybe there's a distinction between rides on
trails and just hurtling down the mountain.

Definitely not the longest mtb run ever considering I routinely ride
descents down farther than that in Colorado, on trails or jeep roads.
Maybe the longest 'free ride' run ever? Good smooth riding, albeit
damaging.

riding on the North Shore in Canada. He does things you almost can't

Kris Holm (the unicyclist) is amazing, I have some footage of him
riding on the North Shore in Canada. He does things you almost can't
believe even after you've seen them done!

Perhaps the reason he rides a unicycle off-road is that the province in
which he lives has made it illegal to ride one on the road.
