Camp site recommendation?

  1. Can anyone recommend a good campsite near to Glossop/Ashton Under Lyne area,
    that will still be open in a couple of weeks? Just looking for quiet, basic,
    scenic, walkable pub etc. Thanks.

    The nearest is Crowden but there is no pub.

    Looks like it just closed for the year.

    The next is Hayfield where there are several pubs in the village (the
    campsite is about 1/2 a mile from the village).

    I'm not aware of any others near hear - I live in Hyde.
