Apperantly large people need to exercise to slim down, so you all say, but
I can't understand this. the moment a large person does try to get into a
gym, run, or hell, even play DDR at an arcade or basketball in the park,
he or she is made fun of, for being a large person who is trying to do
exactly what you all want them to do all along.

I have belonged to various gyms over the last 20 years and I have yet to
see any fat person made fun of. I go 3 to 5 times per week.

At the gym that I go to they are regularly humiliated and occasionally
beaten and told not to return. We have higher standards. Memberships are
sold to fat people only because the gym needs the money. It is not a chain
store gym. Once the fatty has paid for the membership we discourage him or
    her from returning.

Sound like my kind of gym! I say throw some jock itch powder in their
shorts and THEN watch 'em work out.

And this helps this large person lose weight how? Like I was saying. Sure
getting out a tilling a garden might make you work up a good sweat, but if
someone is serious and pays good money touse gym equipment, why should they
be denied access because someone doesn't have enough sense to look the other
    way?

Great business model. It's well known that if everyone who signed up
    to the gym
in January came the whole year and used like a normal user, the gym
    would go
under. Most gyms rely on the gap between people's intentions in the
    abstract and
their follow-through in the real world. Your gym has cut out the
    waiting for failure.

Bravo. You might start beating the muscular guys too. Or mislabel the
    weights
light, so they get injured. Either way, anything that improves the
    ratio of active
members to members can only improve your bottom line in the short term.

I went to the gym for 8 months and lost one pound. Switched to a treadmill
and lost 50 lbs. Then had an accident (serious fall) where I broke my knee,
my ankle and dislocated a toe. No more treadmill for me. Low-carbing alone
isn't working without the exercise. I still have 25 lbs to go and can't seem
to lose an ounce now. I'm 63, female and past menopause.
