I carry pepper spray -- 2 or 3 of the little 1 oz canisters that clip to my belt. Over the past week I have had two encounters with a pair of young pit bulls that apparently are running loose in the neighborhood where I run each morning, starting usually around 0530. I have had to shoot them twice with my pepper spray.
I have reported the dogs to animal control.
I've seen other runners with pepper spray in a Velcro grip -- the grip seems to have a holster that holds the pepper spray canister and a strap that wraps around the hand -- the pepper spray is always at the ready. Anyone have any experience with these?

Really? And what "belt" is it you wear running? You are really an idiot, and a bad troll.

Yes, but the one drawback is you have to practice your quick draw, like the old cowboys.

What pepper spray do you carry?
Thanks.
I don't carry sprays. I favor other "force multipliers." When possible, go after the owner.

Perhaps "belt" is not the correct term. I should have said "waistband of my shorts."
I'll ignore the rest of your [censored] and add you to my killfile.
