    I think he had the WC stripes on his gloves. (Can't find a picture,

    Dumbass:

    Lance was right to prioritize his "TdF yellow" stripes over the rainbow
    stripes. The TdF is more important than the WC.

    Actually, now that I noticed this while browsing through the rule book
    (isn't that how one is supposed to prepare for races these days if one
    doesn't have a dedicated team lawyer (or one is said lawyer oneself)?)
    wearing the former national champion's stripes on the sleeve is
    mandatory, the rainbow stripes are optional.
