  1. The National MS Society in Connecticut has scheduled the annual
Mohegan Sun two day MS Bike Tour for September 15th and 16th, and it
should be a great ride. There was just a cancellation from a member
of "Lorenzo's Team", so the next person who wants to ride can use his
registration for free! (an $80 value) You would still be expected to
try to reach your fund-raising goal. Contact [censored] Schroth
([email hidden]) ASAP if you would like to join the ride.

You can ride a variety of distances - 25, 50 or 75 miles a day. Some
    details about the ride:

The registration fee includes lots of food and overnight
accommodations at Incarnation Center in Ivoryton CT ( http://www.incarnationcamp.org).
The ride is also well supported, so they have mechanics to help with
any bike problems you may encounter. The start and finish is at Fort
    Shantok State Park (http://www.infosports.com/parks/CT/323850.html) in
Uncasville, near Mohegan Sun. It looks like the ride will be
relatively flat and quite scenic. Here's what the MS Society has to
    say about the ride:

Challenge yourself to 150 miles of breath-taking Connecticut scenery,
and enjoy the rider support that makes our Tour miles ahead of the
rest. Saturday night, enjoy dinner at our overnight resort, where you
can take part in a raucous game of BINGO, or relax with some newfound
friends. If that doesn't get you off the couch, maybe the mouth-
watering finish line New England style clambake will.

Registration for this ride is $80 (or better yet free!). How can you
beat two days of riding, overnight accommodations, Saturday lunch and
dinner and Sunday clambake for $80 (or better yet free!)! All we have
to do is raise some money to help support the fight against MS. So
join us on Lorenzo's Team and have a great weekend!
