Bikes are always discounted at the end of the year to make way for new models. 1140 down to 750 on a
two year old model (2004 models have been in the shops for a few months now) is not a good saving.

Diamond Back /was/ a good American bike company, but they were bought out years ago and most of
their stuff is cheap Taiwanese stuff. I would look other places for a better deal.
