Yep. 2 separate falls on the same hike. One one the way in, one on
the self rescue on the way out. Guess she was tired and hurting after
the first one ;-).

But after 2 days rest she was back on the trail, albeit a bit slower.

Ha, cool. Is that the main trail (can't remember it's name) from Logan
Pass heading north?

I believe the trail you're thinking of is the Highline Trail that goes
along the west side of the Garden Wall.

This trail is about 0.5 miles east on the other side of the Garden
Wall. It leads from the Going-to-the-Sun Road just below Siyeh Bend,
over Piegan Pass to Lake McDonald. Exceptional hike BTW, easy to do
in one day with a fantastic lunch spot and view at Piegan Pass. Take
the boat on Lake McDonald or continue hiking along the lakeshore to
Swiftcurrent Lodge, then take the shuttle back to your car.

Gotcha. We didn't have time when we passed through the area during our 1998
Redwoods/Mt St Helens/Olympic Natl
Park/Victoria-Vancouver/Jasper/Banff/Glacier/Lassen/Tahoe trip.
