    I've got the 4-bolt one on my XT crankset with a 32T ring. Theres about
    1/4" between the top of the chain and the edge of the bashguard, so I'd say yes. I really
    like it a lot.

    Sizes: 4-bolt 104mm/34T max; 5-bolt 94mm/34T max; 5-bolt 110mm/36T max.
