  1. On the eve of a camping trip to Wales, I can't find my Pro-Action tent! I
last used it at a music festival a month ago, I'm sure I brought it back, I
couldn't have been *that* addled, surely...

Anyway - is there anywhere en-route to mid/north-Wales from Norfolk (that's
a lot of country) that is likely to be 1) open tomorrow, and 2) still stock
the Vango Banshee, or similar, for around the same price (about £70)? Or - I
have a MSR Zoid tent with knackered poles; is there anywhere that may supply
replacements en-route? I'd even divert somewhere a bit off-route if
    necessary.

I can't believe I'm so disorganised to have lost a tent.

  2. I have no idea of your route from Norfolk to North Wales!

Decathlon in Dudley (left hand side of Birmingham) is open tomorrow - go
www.decathlon.co.uk for their stock of tents and indeed their other
    stores!

I've gone off a long way leaving my boots in the YH drying room.

    Richard

  3. Could try this Ultimate Outdoors as well - they stock Vango

I'd think any of the big outdoor stores in the tourist towns in mid/N
Wales would be open with a Sunday service tomorrow (10-4?)

Betws-y-Coed is probably a safe bet for Climber & Rambler; Cotswold
Outdoors; Stewart Cunningham but wheter its got the precise gear you want

    Google search tonight?

Cheers Bryan; also found a place in Coventry that should have them too.

If your route takes you past Coventry, you should be able to find
something suitable at Go Outdoors Coventry Business Park, Canley Road,
    CV5 6RN.

It's a huge place. If you buy something, it works out cheaper to buy the
    discount membership card thing.

Don't get sucked in though, or else you might never make it to Wales...

Lockwoods in Leamington Spa, or Escape 2 on Emscote road in Warwick both
used be open all BHM on more or less normal business hours as well.
