I have the following pressure cooker; I got it for $40.00 at Sears when it's on Sale. Recently, I found the washer for my old tiny pressure cooker; I tried getting the washer before buying the new one but the idiot from Home Depot said I can't use the one they have. My mistake to show them my pot. I shoulf just ask them where they keep those rubber washer.
Anyway, I used the big one like 2 times only and now am thinking to sell it for $35.00 becasue I want to be lighter since I want to move to a new city where, at first, I will need to rent a room form someone. Someone's interested in buying ..and I don't want to let it go ..though I can get the same one for $40.65 from amazon w/ free shipping.

I'd be inclined to keep the 8-quart, especially since you can do pressuring canning in that size if it will hold four quart jars. And big is more versatile for cooking than "tiny." JMO.

Yeah, even though I won't be able to take all my pots and pans with me at first. There is a storage place at one of my sister's house by the dining area where I can put soem things in boxes. I'll take both pressure cooker with me. Why not? Thatw ay, I can cook real fast with 2 pressure cookers, once I figured out to utilize it to make tasty food. I saw a cook book for pressure cooker with great review. Problem is I have so little time to really enjoy cooking. Oh, well.

Actually, I only said 8 Quart preesure cooker, simple design, Didn't even post a pic.

It's true that big is more versatile though I doubt that I'd ever do canning in the next 25-30 years or so. It'll be my retirement project if I get to enjoy life enough to do the canning.

Do you have a Craig's list for your area? Put it up on there. Lower the price a little and they pick it up, so you don't have to pack and mail it. We put a nice futon on Craig's list (free) and it was gone in 2 hours.

I'm happy you've made a decision. Canning or no, since a pressure pan isn't to be filled more than 3/4 (2/3?) of capacity, an 8-quart pot is more usable, IMO. I'm glad you've decided you can find space for it.
