Turns out due to a minor emergency I had to rush back with a sammich
and a Powerade and no beer.

I'm meeting coworkers for our semiregular meeting at 5, though...

The last time I ate Satisfactions (two weeks ago) I got violent diarrhea.

Their product is still far better than mellow mushroom's cardboard crusted

Satisfactions has the second best pizza in Durham.
Pizza Palace is better. Both are pricey for pizza,
and I've delivered for both, but that was long ago[1].
Back when the drinking age was 18 then 19, Duke's
basketball team hung out at Satisfactions. It was
in Lakewood Mall at the time, though that wasn't
really a mall.

I had my bachelor party at the old Pizza Palace off
9th street. They gave me a keg. The ex-mayor of
Durham, the owner's husband, drank a good bit of
it.

1. Cinelli's, which is ridiculously expensive, is
giving them a run for the money.

I like Randy's Pizza, though I think the Randy's in RTP is better than
the two Durham locations I've tried.

I actually like Satisfactions most of the time. Everything seems to
give me violent diarrhea so gut is a poor barometer for potential
gastric discomfort.

The absolutely worst Pizza I have ever had in Durham is "I Love
Manhattan" on 9th street. I went there hoping to get some good NY
Style Pizza, instead I got two slices of "sausage" that tasted like
balsa wood smeared with ketchup and sprinkled with Alpo.

I've never tried Pizza Palace; I'll have to check it out.

That yoke is easy.

But it was very nearly relevant yesterday.

ATM only feex everything if you remember to stop there before
venturing to the pub.

Fortunately, $1.50 pints go a long way on domestic pint night.
And it wasn't even PBR.
