  1. Hey All,

So after buying a triathlon bike with a dura-ace set I realized just how bad my sora set was on my road bike. The only problem is I don't really know what is going to be required to do the upgrades. The shifters are the first thing that I want to upgrade as not being able to shift on the drops sucks. I also want to go from a triple chainring to just the 2. The brakes seem fine so not worried there. Thanks in advance!

  2. Uless you are a weight weenie, I would just go with a standard 10 speed Shimano 105 or Ultegra components. Going from a triple to a double could present a small problem in that you should replace the existing BB with one made for a double. You can use the same crank but remove the small chainring. You can adjust the limit screws on your existing derailer to only shift to those two gears, but you would get cleaner, crisper shifts by replacing the front derailer with a double.

  3. Pro Bike Kit are having an amazing sale on groupsets, plus a few other things
