  1. My bike came with an 11X23 Record cassette. I am going to switch to
either a 13X26 or 13X29. I know that Campy has different part numbers
for their lock rings so I assume there is a size difference. However, I
was looking through some of the documents that came with the bike and
found another lockring. I can't find anything on it that would identify
which cassette size it goes with. Is there a way to tell what size
    cassette this would work with?

Compare it to the one that's on your current wheel. If it's at all
    bigger, it's for a 12/13/14 small cog. It's basically a "not 11" size.

The small lockring is special to an 11t start. The other larger lockring
    is for 12, 13, 14 start cassettes.

The question is, can the 11T lockring be used with a 12 start cassette?

Probably not. If you look at the end of your 11t and then at a 12 or
13t, elevens have a different face. The 12, 13, 14 are stepped so the
special 11t lockring doesn't fully engage the cog face.

Hubs are supplied with a lockring for 12, 13, 14. Standard cassettes are
    supplied without lockring.

Cassettes with an 11t have a special 11t lockring included in the box
    (and cost more).
